Held annually at Shelburne Farms, this ticketed event the the public connect with Vermont’s food system, and experience the bounty of local products grown and raised by Vermont’s farmers and highlighted in delectable offerings by the state’s finest chefs  and specialty food and beverage producers - it is a dinner like no other. 

Vermont Open Farm Week (August)

This statewide  provides an excellent opportunity for local farms to connect with your community, engage with customers, and highlight the unique aspects of your farm.

VFN hosts and manages this project through our DigInVT platform. Farmers report this event is a good way to strengthen connections with consumers and explore agritourism as a possible income source.*

*100 % of OFW 2024 survey respondents believe that Open Farm Week is very helpful in attracting new customers, 88% say that it raises awareness about their farm, 93% say it helps with educating customers and visitors and 70% say it increases sales.
