We are working with the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, food and markets to grow agritourism in Vermont as part of a FSMIP grant. We are also co-chair of Farm to Plate's agritourism community of practice.
VFN is a community partner on a University of Vermont research study focused on sustainability in consumer-facing farms that sell directly to consumers and/or engage in agritourism.
VFN represents the restaurant market for this producer group in support of growing Vermont's aquaculture sector.
As part of a grant held by VAAFM, we will be developing resources and producing events in support of increasing the farm to restaurant market.
