Celebrate Local with The Great Vermont Picnic

July 19, 2020

Plan a picnic and participate in The Great Vermont Picnic this August!

We invite folks across the state to take part in this month-long celebration of the farmer-chef connection. Order takeout and pair your meal with a Vermont beverage, cheese, tasting board, fruit, and more. Celebrate our state’s restaurants, local producers, and summer in Vermont. More info here.

Stay close to home or consult Seven Days’ Staytripper Guide for a day trip in Vermont. So grab your picnic blanket, family members, social distance with friends, and have the best Vermont picnic ever!

While you can support ANY Vermont restaurant, farmers market, farmstand, co-op, and more to put together your picnic, we hope you'll choose Vermont Fresh Network members or search via Seven Days' Good To-Go directory of hundreds of places across the state. We’ve highlighted only a few suggestions below.
