Vermont's Most Romantic Slope-side Dining
February 10, 2016Some of Vermont's most romantic dining spots are nestled high in the mountains and trail adjacent. Whether you and your partner are nordic or alpine enthusiasts, we've got a romantic and snowy dining and adventure experience for you.
Cliff House Summit Series - Stowe
Ride a gondola to the top of Mount Mansfield for a romantic dinner at the chalet-inspired Cliff House. Executive Chef, Kyle MacPherson takes inspiration from local ingredients and often builds menus around a local theme. The upcoming "Sweethearts Dinner" is well sold-out, but a perfect Valentines Day gift would be seats for their March 5th Beer Dinner!
Snowcat Dining Adventure to Epic at Okemo Mountain - Ludlow
Okemo Mountain has crafted the perfect romantic evening out. Explore the mountain with an insider's perspective from the mountain Snowcat, and travel to Epic Restaurant at Solitude Village for a five-course meal prepared by Chef Jason Tostrup. Chef Jason has spent his Vermont career getting to know the farmers and producers working and growing around him, and his menus always feature these partners. Need a sitter? The mountain offers childcare for just $20 per kid!
At last check, there were still a few seats open for the Valentine's Day Snowcat Adventure with a special lovebird themed menu from Chef Jason!
Blueberry Hill Inn - Goshen
Reserve a room at Blueberry Hill Inn and enjoy all the cross country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and natural beauty Vermont has to offer. Blueberry Hill sits deep in the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area of the Green Mountain National Forest, at the foot of (appropriately named) Romance Mountain. Return to the Inn after a day of skiing for a warm and cozy, four-course meal prepared by Chef Tim Cheevers
.
Tour De Moon at Sugarbush Resort - Warren
Sugarbush is guiding a special, Valentine's Day moonlit skin or snowshoe excursion up Mt. Ellen to the Glen House for dinner. And what goes up, must come down - dinner is followed by an exciting ski or ride back to the base!
