For every completed VFN Dining Challenge, Orvis will donate $25 to the Vermont Fresh Network.

Our members are committed to supporting and promoting Vermont's working landscape and locally based food system. Orvis has always been committed to conservation efforts throughout the world. Their support of this project honors the importance of diversified agriculture in conserving Vermont's working landscape. For every diner who challenges themselves to choose Vermont grown & raised food when dining out, Orvis will donate $25 dollars to the Vermont Fresh Network. Orvis values the commitment of your conscientious dinning choice!

The Vermont Fresh Network (VFN) would like to invite you to join us in a celebration of Vermont's bounty! This network is full of exceptional farmers and chefs working together in the pursuit of culinary excellence with the finest, freshest, local ingredients! Today more restaurants are buying local products then in years past. We know that thoughtful diners asking the right questions can enjoy something grown or raised by a nearby farmer.

We want to encourage each other to care enough to ask; to talk about local food and building relationships with our neighborhood chefs, farmers, and even our waiters. This Dining Challenge offers a "Carrot" in recognition of the dining public's awareness, support and dedication to Vermont's Agricultural and Culinary partnerships! We all want to insure that Vermont's landscape will always include farms and restaurants working together to provide fresh, flavorful, high quality food to citizens and visitors.
